| Our mentoring program supports two of FITT’s primary objectives: |
 |
Inspire women in the industry to achieve their personal aspirations and potential AND |
 |
Assist women to broaden their understanding of the ICT industry. |
This year we have revamped the program to strengthen its value:
- Made the program 3 months longer to increase mentor/mentee meeting time
- Introduced a mentee networking evening, creating an alumni
- Recruited new presenters with a strong emphasis on quality delivery
- Focused more on individuals by providing an in-depth personality profile and a self awareness session with an accredited facilitator of the profiling tool
- Retained our highly successful matching process, mentoring model and contract
- Maintained our very competitive mentee fee at 2011’s level of $795 for early-bird applications.

The NSW Government Women in Business Mentor Program
This is a six-month agenda that helps women business owners (mentorees) grow their business by linking them with experienced business people (mentors). Using a combination of mentoring, practical business workshops and networking events, the Program lends a hand to women to improve their business skills and successfully manage business growth.
