We’re looking to grow our team on the Service Desk with individuals committed to providing ICT troubleshooting support within our Federal Government client base across the region. As a Service Desk Analyst you will provide incredible customer service and respond to phone inquiries promptly, courteously and efficiently. Maintain records and log these reported incidents using an IT Service Management tool and scripted questions.

Fujitsu is expanding a professional technical team skilled across network solutions supporting a large Federal Government client within the Maritime Environment in Sydney.

We’re looking to grow our team on the Service Desk with individuals committed to providing ICT troubleshooting support within our Federal Government client base across the region. As a Service Desk Analyst you will provide incredible customer service and respond to phone inquiries promptly, courteously and efficiently. Maintain records and log these reported incidents using an IT Service Management tool and scripted questions. 

Core Skills

  • 2+ years as a network engineer performing design and/or 3rd level incident resolution in an enterprise scale or ISP environment;
  • Proven experience with advanced routing using BGP and OSPF protocols;
  • Proven experience producing a range of documentation – From simple work instructions to detailed designs;
  • Expertise with the following vendor technology – ideally certified to professional level
    • Cisco ISR Routers, Catalyst and Nexus switches
    • Cisco Security appliances
    • Cisco Call Manager, CME and VoIP
  • Sound understanding of ITIL best practice and ISO Quality Standards. Ideally ITIL v3 Foundation certified.

Core Skills – Ideally have expertise in at least 1

  • Public Key Infrastructure and encryption technologies;
  • Automation tools such as Python/Ansible and working with APIs;
  • Network management tools such as Nagios/Icinga, Graylog and Splunk;
  • Satellite and Cellular WAN technologies.

Skills – highly desirable

  • VMware virtualisation technologies;
  • Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure;
  • Understanding of constraints working within a government, military or marine environment.
