Our Exciting Opportunity:
Ericsson Australia is growing! As a result, we are now looking for a Solution Architect, who will be responsible for analyzing, designing and developing commercially viable end-to-end technical solutions for our customers. The successful candidate will also be accountable for providing profitable business solution for Ericsson by translating customer needs, and technology opportunities into detailed technical offering, solutions and proposals.
In this role, you would:
- Own the solution analysis & design and act as a technical lead in projects; provide leadership and senior competence for integration teams
- Manage customers’ requirements and customer expectations from presales through to the handover stages of the project
- Identify add on sales opportunities via close collaboration with the customer in the delivery projects and drive business by finding new convergence opportunities based on growing existing solutions as well as creating new ones
- Participate in customer workshops, provide solution and technical expertise and deliver solution presentations
- Identify the impacts and risks as a product of the solution introduction, and recommendations on solution evolution
- Share and transfer knowledge, mentor and collaborate with other team members
- Interact with customer, 3rd Party Suppliers, and other Service Delivery organizations
As our ideal candidate, you will have:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering (IT, Telecom) or equivalent
- Significant experience in Telecom and customer facing role
- Solid experience as a Solution Architect in Packet Core networks with special emphasis on the role of the DNS system in the E2E solution
- Solid understanding of the 5G SA Core Network with good understanding in NEF (Network Exposure Function) and NSSF (Network Slice Selection Function)
- Previous experience on Ericsson related solutions (IPWorks DNS, Cloud Core Resource Controller – CCRC) or in related solutions from other vendors (F5, Nokia)
- Hands-on experience manipulating various types of DNS entries on a production environment is a plus!
- Good communication skills to explain technical procedures and relevant solutions to our customer, as well as performing and presenting results of Root Cause Analysis processes
You may also have:
- Professional IP Certifications (CCNA/CCNP or likes)
- BUGS certification and/or ETCP certifications are advantageous!
